Winchester home sales top $3.8 million as trust transfers dominate quiet stretch of the market

Winchester recorded 20 property transfers between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, but only 10 carried a sale price so far, ranging from $30,000 to $3,799,000 with a median of $1,767,500 among priced sales. The month's top transaction was 29 Ginn Rd, which sold for $3,799,000 on Sept. 2 to Mark Meyer and Lisa Hammond. Notably, all 10 unpriced transfers involved matching family names, suggesting trust or estate transactions, while every priced sale involved unrelated buyers and sellers, a split that limits broader conclusions about market direction this period.
