Winchester Home Prices Range Widely as Trust Transfers Mark August Sales
Winchester recorded 18 property sales between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, according to deeds filed at the South Middlesex Registry of Deeds. Ten of the 18 transactions listed a sale price, ranging from $615,000 for a home on Salem Street to $2,350,000 for 50 Brooks St., with a median of $1,580,000 among disclosed sales. The top transaction was the Brooks Street sale, bought by Andrew and Cara Goldberg from Nicholas W. and Suzanna G. Panitsas. Eight of the 18 transfers, nearly half, did not list a price; seven of those moved property into or within family trusts. The data shows a wide price range but limited disclosure overall, leaving the broader market picture incomplete.
