Zoning Board reviews design updates on mixed-use 40B project

WINCHESTER — Zoning Board continues 40B comprehensive permit hearing for mixed-use Washington and Swanton street project. The board accepted updated landscape and architectural design plans from Melanson Development for the proposed 64-unit rental building with ground floor commercial space, with landscape architect Michael Radner presenting revisions addressing Design Review Committee feedback. Architect Michele Quinn Littlefield agreed to study modifications to windows, clapboards, and balcony details on the building.

The board unanimously approved continuation of the hearing to February 11 to address traffic and stormwater updates.
