Winchester Home Sales See $3.1 Million Top Deed as Median Tops $2.4 Million

Winchester recorded 19 property transfers from July 10 to Aug. 8, with sale prices disclosed on 11 of them. Prices on those 11 ranged from $680,000 for a condominium unit at 2 George Rd to $3.1 million for a single-family home at 27 Everett Ave, the period's top sale. The median disclosed price was $2,409,000. Two of the month's sales occurred on Yale Street, and four transfers involved a buyer and seller sharing the same surname, a pattern consistent with within-family or trust-related transfers. Eight of the 19 deeds, including two condo units at 200 Swanton St., did not disclose a sale price.
