Winchester Select Board sets June 2027 deadline for retiree Medicare Part B reimbursement vesting. Town Manager Christopher Senior recommended the deadline to allow employees time to plan retirements and departments time to adjust staffing; the Board approved it unanimously. Separately, Vice Chair William McGonigle's motion to renew Senior's contract through December 31, 2027, received no second and was tabled until August 24, after Select Board members Michelle Prior and Michael Bettencourt expressed concerns about first reviewing performance goals.
The Board unanimously accepted $162,493.36 in state grants and community donations.
