PSTC backs MVP grant letter seeking $100K in tree funding.

WINCHESTER — The Permanent Street Tree Committee unanimously endorsed a letter of support for the Mystic River Watershed Association Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness grant application. Chair Austin Whitman presented the project, which would direct over $100,000 in funding to Winchester for tree inventory, management planning, and tree planting initiatives across town. A roll call vote approved the motion unanimously, with Whitman authorized to edit and submit the letter to MyRWA by the March 17 deadline.

The multi-community application is due March 21.
