Planning Board endorses Washington and Swanton 40B mixed-use development

WINCHESTER — Planning Board unanimously endorses 60-unit mixed-use development at Washington and Swanton streets. The Planning Board voted unanimously to recommend favorable action on a 40B comprehensive permit for the development, contingent on Design Review Committee recommendations. Members also voted unanimously to encourage retail uses in the commercial space and to include public seating to activate the streetscape.

In other action, the board released the performance bond for the completed Loring Court subdivision and approved a special permit for a deck at 28 Fletcher Street.
