WINCHESTER — Planning Board advances zoning bylaw amendments in continued public hearing. The Board voted 5-0 to extend review to July 7 of proposed amendments to special permit and site plan review procedures, with consultant Nels Nelson and Board members discussing Floor Area Ratio standards, design criteria, and retaining wall height requirements. In a separate case, the Board voted 4-0 to continue review of a mixed-use development at 972 Main Street to July 7, with Building Inspector Tom Kennedy flagging parking-standard compliance issues regarding drive-aisle width.

The Board unanimously endorsed a land conveyance agreement for Sunset Road between Winchester and Woburn, formally documenting a 2020 arrangement that had been lost during the pandemic.
