WINCHESTER — Housing Partnership Board votes to join appeal of 33 Mount Vernon development. Chair John Suhrbier and members Allan Rodgers, Marty Jones, Steve Campbell, Vice Chair Felicity Tuttle, and Select Board representative Michael Bettencourt voted 6-4 to join the Affordable Housing Trust's Superior Court appeal, challenging the Planning Board's approval decision and alleging Open Meeting Law violations and procedural breaches of the town's Inclusionary Housing Bylaw. John Bellaire, Keri Layton, I-Ching Scott, and Laura Glynn opposed.
The board separately approved a motion authorizing Suhrbier to coordinate with Town Counsel and the Town Clerk on responses to two OML complaints filed by Planning Board member Brian Vernaglia, and declined to take a position on Spring Town Meeting Article 44 amending the Central Business District Inclusionary Housing Bylaw.
