Energy Management Committee charts chair transition, advances building assessments and solar projects.

WINCHESTER — Energy Management Committee unanimously approved prior minutes and discussed chair transition. Chair Todd Kosterman may shift roles to allow Dr. Karl Rexer to rotate out after leading the committee for over a decade.
Comprehensive building assessments for McCall, Ambrose, and Parkhurst schools are underway through Green System Consulting, with Parkhurst and Ambrose assessments due by mid-March. Lynch School's solar system is mechanically complete and awaiting Eversource meter installation within two to three weeks. The Muraco School feasibility study, estimated at $1.2 million to $1.5 million, will be presented at spring Town Meeting with MSBA reimbursement already committed.
