ENERGY MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE - TOWN CLERK'S OFFICE · Meeting of June 1, 2026
Winchester energy management committee approves prior meeting minutes. The committee's five voting members approved minutes from March 23 and April 13 with one abstention. Sustainability Director Ken Pruitt updated the committee on potential solar installations being explored with Solect for McCall, VO, and Transfer Station facilities, and on Town Hall HVAC system upgrades requiring a town override that could include a geothermal system with 30 percent federal tax credit if operational by the end of 2032.
The Lynch School solar project consumed 405,000 kilowatt-hours and generated a $250,000 Eversource bill, which Pruitt said should be the contractor's responsibility.
