WINCHESTER — Conservation Commission unanimously approves Land Conservation Assistance Grant application for Forest Ridge. The 90 percent matching grant would fund a Phase I assessment and legal costs for the land purchase and conservation restrictions, potentially yielding $31,000 in work at a net town cost of $3,100, according to the minutes. Commission members also approved the 2025 annual report and advanced two Eagle Scout projects: rebuilding the Smith Pond bridge and upgrading the fire road trail off Sussex Road.
