WINCHESTER — Conservation Commission approves Certificate of Compliance for Eversource vegetation restoration project. Chair Tracy Olson and the commission voted unanimously to certify that restoration at Wedgemere Train Station and Winter Pond meets compliance standards after two years of work including invasive species monitoring and wildflower establishment. The commission also unanimously approved a lower-bid water quality treatment proposal from Water and Wetlands for Wedge Pond and voted to adopt a new GIS mapping tool for regulatory areas, flood hazards, and wetlands that will support building permit review.
