WINCHESTER — Conservation Commission unanimously approves Forest Ridge Land acquisition grant application to Winchester Committee on Community Preservation. Chair Tracy Olson reported submission of a Land and Water Conservation Fund grant application potentially worth $1 million in reimbursement, with the Commission pursuing additional state funding and planning a municipal bond before spring Town Meeting. The Commission also unanimously approved a Certificate of Compliance for 23 Kenwin Road and continued the Winchester Country Club Notice of Intent hearing to January 27, with Administrator Elaine Vreeland presenting a comprehensive 10-year Town Forest Management Plan that has generated a $5,000 cost-share and enrolled the town in the Massachusetts Forest Stewardship Program.
