WINCHESTER — Conservation Commission unanimously approves Forest Ridge conservation acquisition application. The Commission filed an application with the Warrant Committee Community Preservation Program to acquire a 13.7-acre parcel, with a map showing proposed trails connecting to Middlesex Fells and Fallon Road in Stoneham; the WCCP will vote February 25 on recommending the project to spring Town Meeting. The Commission also closed the public hearing on the Winchester Country Club Notice of Intent and approved it with standard conditions, and signed a support letter for the South Reservoir Dam Improvement project grant application citing the existing structure's hazardous condition and importance to flood prevention and wildlife habitat.
