WINCHESTER — Conservation Commission approves multiple projects at Borggaard Beach and Forest Ridge. The body unanimously issued a Negative Determination of Applicability for fence removal and electric line installation at Borggaard Beach, Wedge Pond, with electrical cabinets required to sit 25 feet from the water's edge, and unanimously approved an Order of Conditions for sand replenishment, requiring pre-marked vegetation removal and equal sand replacement within floodplain. Chair Tracy Olson reported a state grant application worth $425,000 for Forest Ridge acquisition is due February 6, and the Commission unanimously authorized $2,250 from its Conservation Fund for Phase I Environmental Assessment of one parcel, with Community Preservation Act reimbursement requested.
