WINCHESTER COMMITTEE ON COMMUNITY PRESERVATION · Meeting of July 14, 2026
Winchester preservation committee re-elects Marshall; hears two funding applications. Christina Marshall was voted chair unanimously as the committee deliberated requests from the Lincoln School shade structure project (under $50,000) and the Leonard Pavilion renovation (approximately $450,000). The committee made clear that applicants must submit care, custody and control letters documenting property authorization — none of the current applicants submitted them.
Application deadlines will shift to May 15 for initial applications and July 1 for final applications next year to coordinate with the Capital Planning Committee. A joint CPC-WCCP meeting is scheduled for August 2026.
