Commissioners rebalance portfolio to reduce investment volatility

WINCHESTER — Commissioners of Trust Funds rebalance portfolios in effort to reduce investment volatility. Chair Patrick Campbell, Cornelis Biemans, and Robert B MacIntosh approved elimination of the iShares ESG MSCI USA Leaders fund and addition of the Invesco S&P 500 High Dividend Low Volatility fund across four municipal trust accounts totaling $21.56 million in market value. The swap targets yield improvement from 0.98 percent to 4.39 percent.
The Library Endowment returned 5.12 percent year-to-date, significantly outpacing its 1.29 percent benchmark.
