WINCHESTER — Trust board maintains investment stance despite market concerns. The Winchester Commissioners of Trust Funds heard a presentation from Rockland Trust, which administers over $9 billion in municipal assets, but declined to alter the current investment allocation. Chair Patrick Campbell led the board, which noted that Winchester's trust accounts remain fully aligned while expressing concern about concentration in semiconductor stocks, which comprise 18 percent of the S&P 500.

The board cited risks from artificial intelligence capital expenditure expansion and geopolitical tensions in the Strait of Hormuz but determined conditions did not warrant changes. Four trust accounts held $21.9 million in assets as of April 30, 2026.
