Winchester Historical Commission approved an ADU at 208B Ridge Street and designated 88 Harvard Street historic. Commissioner Janet Boswell's motion to find the Ridge Street accessory dwelling unit does not adversely impact the town's historic resources passed unanimously, with Commissioner Jon Carlisle seconding. The commission voted unanimously on a Boswell motion to designate 88 Harvard Street a historic resource under Section 4.5.2(1) of the Zoning Bylaws, reserving the right to review preservation conditions from July 2021.
The property will return to the commission in one month for discussion of additional conditions and stylistic recommendations.
