Board of Health Approves Camp Permit Fee Increase to $300

Winchester Board of Health approves Camp Permit fee increase. The board voted unanimously to support increasing the Camp Permit fee from $200 to $300, effective July 1, 2026, pending Town Meeting approval and state authorization. Health Director Jennifer Murphy presented the fee increase request for inclusion in the Spring Town Meeting warrant.
The board also held a public hearing on a proposed Kratom Regulation with resident Maura Sullivan speaking in support; a final vote on the regulation is scheduled for the board's March 23 meeting.
