WINCHESTER — Board of Health approves camp waiver for Preschool Social Academy. The Winchester Board of Health unanimously approved a variance for Preschool Social Academy owner Kimberly Higgins to waive the standard camp administration course requirement, citing her master's degree and years of operating an EEC-licensed daycare. In other action, the board scheduled a variance vote for July 13 on a Keeping of Animals permit for 237 Ridge Street after applicants Drew and Lisa Olaharski were unable to obtain required neighbor signatures.
Board Chair Anne Marie Hill will draft a letter to school officials regarding cigar smoking at the recent high school graduation, while she and Health Director Jennifer Murphy will request a Select Board meeting to establish a protocol for one-day alcohol permits.
