WINCHESTER — Affordable Housing Trust votes to challenge planning board decision. The board authorized litigation 4-2 to appeal the Planning Board's special permit approval for 33 Mount Vernon Street, with pro bono legal counsel from Gilman, McLaughlin, and Hanrahan estimating filing costs at $500 to $600. In separate action, the trust unanimously chose a developer partnership model for 160 Forest Street rehabilitation after reviewing six responses to a request for interest; four parties expressed partnership interest.
The trust authorized pest inspection ($5,000), specification writer assessment ($10,000), and newspaper advertising ($2,000) for the project.
