Affordable Housing Trust approves RFI for 160 Forest Street development.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING TRUST COMMITTEE · Meeting of January 7, 2026

WINCHESTER — Affordable Housing Trust approves RFI strategy for 160 Forest Street property. Chair Marty Jones presided as the committee unanimously approved a Request for Information designed to gather developer interest without pre-selecting candidates, eliminating formal evaluation criteria and making questions voluntary rather than required. The hazmat report will be completed within two months and shared with interested parties.

Separately, Waterfield Commons financing proposals are due mid-January, with closing projected for spring 2026 and construction bidding set for February.
