WINCHESTER — The Winchester Affordable Housing Trust unanimously approved up to $20,000 in property preparation spending for 160 Forest Avenue. Chair Marty Jones and the seven-member committee authorized $10,000 each for a hazmat inspector and trash hauler, with an open house set for February 24 and March 3 and an RFI response deadline of March 10. Town Manager Christopher Senior briefed the board on his prior affordable housing experience in Cohasset and confirmed the town is engaging legal counsel for the Washington Swanton Project (targeting June closing) and the Waterfield Project (late summer site work).
Mike Queenan reported the Winchester Housing Corporation is managing three concurrent property sales totaling six units.
